Eric Hooker, M.S., DABT, is a board certified Toxicologist with over 15 years of experience in toxicology. His experiences include project management of toxicology, teratology, and toxicokinetic studies for preclinical pharmaceutical development, developing study protocols, reviewing data, and writing study reports. His laboratory work included in vivo techniques, primary mammalian cell culture, Ames bacterial mutagenesis assays , surgical procedures, handling hazardous and controlled substances, and GC-MS chemical analysis. Additionally, he has experience reviewing toxicity data to write comprehensive chemical safety assessments of consumer product ingredients and environmental contaminants. His specific interests include developmental and behavioral toxicology relating to organic solvents and pesticides. He has a BS in Psychology from Old Dominion University (1993) and a MS in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Virginia Commonwealth University (2000). In 2009, Mr. Hooker was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, Inc.
