Medical Care in Haiti.

Tetra Tech Sciences’ Anthony Scialli returned on July 16 from 1-week trip to the Central Plateau of Haiti, where he and 14 other volunteers from the US brought medical care to remote villages. Dr. Scialli, who is an obstetrician-gynecologist, pregnant and non-pregnant women and men with a variety of different complaints. Most of the health problems in this population are due to malnutrition and lack of clean water. Vector-borne illnesses such as malaria and dengue fever are also common.
