Arsenic and Cancer Risk Publication

Dr. Gibb and Ms. Haver have published a manuscript on the usefulness of recent studies for the purpose of estimating lung and bladder cancer risk from exposure to arsenic in drinking water. The manuscript reviews recent epidemiologic studies to determine if new data would be better suited to estimate lifetime cancer risks compared to estimates published by the National Research Council in 2001. This manuscript was prepared with support from the Environmental Protection Agency.
