Grand Rounds at Georgetown University

Tetra Tech Sciences’ Anthony Scialli presented Grand Rounds to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Georgetown University on February 12, 2009. Dr. Scialli spoke on information resources in reproductive and developmental toxicology. The talk was of interest to the clinical audience, members of which face questions every day from men and women with concerns about the effects of exposures to medications, chemicals, and other exposures. Dr. Scialli described the limitations of the current pregnancy label and FDA’s plans for revision, and he discussed other sources of information including online data bases such as Reprotox®, operated by the Reproductive Toxicology Center in Maryland for which Dr. Scialli is the Director.
