Dr. Gibb to participate in workshop on standard disclosure and conflict policy for scientific journals.

Dr. Gibb will participate in a workshop to develop a standard disclosure and conflict policy for scientific journals on Saturday July 12, 2008 in Washington DC as an invited member of the Advisory Committee. Dr. Gibb’s invitation to the Advisory Committee was extended by the Natural Resources Defense Council. Other members of the Advisory Committee include Hugh Tilson and Susan Booker, Editor-in-Chief and Editor, respectively, of Environmental Health Perspectives; Britt Erickson, Editor of Chemical and Engineering News; Arthur Caplan of the Center for Bioethics of the University of Pennsylvania; Sheldon Krimsky of Tufts University Medical School; Jennifer Sass of the Natural Resources Defense Council; and Merrill Goozner of the Center for Science in the Public Interest.
