Commentary on Perfluoroalkane Acids Published.

SII ’s Dr. Anthony Scialli has commented on recent papers on the association of PFOA and PFOS with birth size measurements. The findings in these papers, published in Environmental Health Perspectives, may be explained by unmeasured confounders, including diet and maternal plasma volume, which appear to be associated with both perfluoroalkane acid plasma concentrations and with birth weight.
