Dr. Scialli Chair of HESI Committee.

SII’s Dr. Scialli was named chair of the ILSI Health and Environmental Sciences Institute Behavioral Testing Steering Committee. This Committee was established by the HESI Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology Technical Committee, for which Dr. Scialli is an academic advisor. The Behavioral Testing Steering Committee is evaluating the effectiveness of developmental neurotoxicology testing in a regulatory environment. Projects include assessing the concordance between findings in humans and experimental animals and identify ways to optimize testing strategies while reducing the number of animals used.
