Dr. Gibb invited to address World Health Organization (WHO) consultation on Burden of Disease from Foodborne Illness.

Dr. Herman Gibb, the President of Sciences International, has been invited to make a presentation on the burden of disease from foodborne chemicals at a World Health Organization meeting. The purpose of the meeting, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, September 25-27, 2006, is to develop a strategy for estimating the global burden of foodborne diseases. As a separate project, Sciences International is developing an estimate of the burden of disease from mercury, including methylmercury in fish, for the World Health Organization.
