The 9th International Symposium on Metal Ions in Biology and Medicine.

Dr. Herman Gibb attended the 9th International Symposium on Metal Ions in Biology and Medicine (ISMIBM) in Lisbon, Portugal. Results of Dr. Gibb’s research on mercury exposure in Ukraine were presented at the meeting. Dr. Gibb has been an invited speaker and session chair at the previous three ISMIBM meetings in Budapest, Hungary (2004); Saint Petersburg, Russia (2002); and San Juan, Puerto Rico (2000). Dr. Gibb was an organizing co-chairman of the meeting in San Juan.
