Dr. Scialli Interviewed About Estrogens.

Science’s Anthony Scialli, M.D., was interviewed about menopausal estrogen therapy on the Cable TV talk show, “The Coffee House.” The interview was prompted by recent interest in whether estrogens might, after all, decrease heart attack risk in women. The scientific evidence is clear, Dr. Scialli explained: while estrogens are effective in relieving menopausal symptoms, they have not been shown to decrease the risk of heart attack or stroke.
