Sciences International Scientists Publish Landmark Report.

Male-mediated reproductive effects is one of the most important—and controversial—subjects in risk assessment. The determination of how exposure of men to chemicals might influence pregnancy outcome in their partners requires an assessment of exposure routes and mechanisms. There has long been concern that chemicals might gain access to semen or hitch a ride on sperm and thereby gain access to the woman's reproductive system. Sciences' Anthony Scialli and Leah Klemmt teamed up to review the world's literature on this topic. The result of their research appeared in the April 2005 issue of Birth Defects Research (Part B). "This review will be the standard reference in the field," said Sciences' Scialli. To check out the paper, click here.
