Sciences Experts on IARC Panel for asbestos substitutes in Lyon France...

Drs. Suresh Moolgavkar and Jay Turim, two senior members of Science International's technical staff, were part of an expert panel convened by WHO/IARC to consider the hazards posed by fiber substitutes of chrysotile asbestos. The panel, which met in Lyon France during the week of November 7, 2005, ranked the potential risks posed by 15 different types of fibers. The results of the panel's deliberations will be published in an IARC report.
