History and Mission

Sciences International Inc. (SII) was founded in 1993 by Dr. Elizabeth Anderson. It became part of Tetra Tech, Inc. in the fall of 2001 and was renamed Tetra Tech Sciences in 2008. In June 2006, Dr. Herman Gibb was appointed as the President of Tetra Tech Sciences. Dr. Gibb, himself a well-recognized health risk assessment expert, leads a group of experienced and highly qualified health and environmental risk assessment scientists. Our scientists are dedicated to investigating the full range of health and environmental concerns to improve the ability to identify real risks and their causes as a basis for cost-effective and timely solutions.

The mission of Tetra Tech Sciences is the application of credible, defensible science to the questions of health and environmental risk posed by our clients. As we focus our attention broadly on national and global issues, it is our goal to lead the scientific developments that define the health and environmental sciences.
